Ingredients of the dough:
28,1 oz/800g of flour
salt
water
oil or grease
The flour is bolt and kneaded with the water and salt until it becomes a paste. The dough is flattened into a very thin paste. Then it gets divided into little pieces by using a glass. The baking tin gets oiled and sprinkled with flour and it is put in the hot oven. They get baked on both sides and they are left to get cold.
Ingredients of the syrup:
14.05 oz/400 g of sugar or honey
vanilla sugar
one cup of lime-tree tea, jasmine and rose petals (or milk)
The tea is boiled with sugar until it turns into strong-built syrup.
Ingredients of icing:
7,025 oz/200g of fried walnuts (or poppy)
7,025 oz/200g of sugar in powder
The little flat cakes are soaked in the syrup, rolled through walnuts poppy and sprinkled with sugar in powder. Although they are made for fasting, they are very sweet.
