Polish Potato Stuffing Recipe
This is a traditional Polish recipe for potato stuffing which is made anytime a whole chicken
or turkey is roasted. It usually made during the Holidays especially Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Items Used
7 medium
sized Yukon Gold potatoes
1 lb chicken livers
1/2 onion
1 celery stalk
1 lb of butter
How to Prepare
Peel and slice the potato
into chips. Place into a pot, add water. Cook until soft. In a fry pan add the onions which have been chopped with
a 1/2 pound of butter. Once theonions have soften, add the chopped celery and livers to the pan. Cook until, the
livers have turned a gray color. Drain the potatoes. Add the livers and other items to them. Mash the evrything together.
Add rest of the butter and mash it in. The stuffing can be eaten now. But, for a better taste stuff it into a chicken
or turkey and bake until the bird is done. Enjoy.
