Transylvanian Chicken Stew or Tochitura Ardeleneasca Recipe
Everybody recognizes that Transylvanian tasty and spicy dishes are
excellent so we recommend Transylvanian chicken stew. Full of flavor and a special sauce, this Transylvanian chicken stew will surely
love. Transylvanian chicken stew served with warm mamaliga (polenta) and fresh cheese.
Ingredients:
1 chicken
1 branch parsley
1
onion
3 tablespoons of paprika
pepper and salt to taste
1 / 4 kg cream
1 tablespoon flour
Preparation:
Place
the onion in preferably in pork lard, when it becomes soft, add the pepper and 1 / 2 now of parsley washed and cut;
Place chicken,
cut into pieces and wash it. Cook under a lid for about 20 minutes.
Pour hot water over meat, enough to cover it. Then add the
paparika, salt and pepper. When it boiled meat, a sauce is made from flour with cream, and is pour over meat and the mixture is allowed
to simmer until the chicken is tender
Before removing from the stove, pour the remaining cream and parsley, mixing slowly.
